Disclaimer: I forgot about Watchmen. Insert "Watchmen" anywhere on this list above #10, (obviously.)
By all means, tell me if I've left something out. (And for the last time, Transformers movies do not count.)
THE GREATEST SUPER HERO MOVIES -
IN ORDER!
1. The Dark Knight (No surprises here. Right?)
2. Batman Begins
3. Spider-Man II
4. Spider-Man
5. Iron Man
Now you might be thinking, "I agree with your top 5, but not with the order." And that's okay. We can still be friends if we agree that these are the top 5 greatest super hero movies, in any order you want to put them. Here's the rest...

I'm sorry, I cannot rate some movies such as Spawn, The Punisher, The Phantom, The Shadow, Underworld, Blade II, etc., because it's been far too long since I've seen them. And some movies I haven't seen, such as the newest The Punisher, and Catwoman.
While the last five movies weren't the greatest movies ever, these next few are WHOPPERS!
The Hulk (right)
Green Lantern
Superman Returns
Daredevil
The Legend of Zorro
superman IV
And, ladies and gentlemen, for your entertainment, I bring you...
THE WORST MOVIE EVER...
*drums rolling*
Batman and Robin
I'd remove both Spiderman movies from the top 5 and replace them with X2 and Superman 2, respectively. And where, on your list, is Mystery Men???
ReplyDeleteAnd no way should Blade be under any of those stupid Tim Burton Batman movies.
I hardly remember Blade. I remember that I liked it, but that's about it. I forgot about Mystery Men!
ReplyDeleteI have tried to watch Thor twice. I can't do it! I can't get past the opening 20 minutes. (Just like High School Musical.) Does it get better after that? It must but tell me what about that movie is worth putting up with the lame opening.
ReplyDeleteThe enjoyable part comes when he goes to Earth and loses his powers. Although I enjoyed the entire thing, it doesn't really get funny until then.
DeleteIts times like these that bring a tear to my eye and make me realize how much I love my wife. Without knowing that she had already read this post I came to make a comment and discovered that my wife had already made the EXACT comment that I was going to make (well, minus the Mystery Men comment because I hadn't thought of it but now that you mention it, yeah!)
ReplyDeleteThis is a tough one... I mostly agree with the top 5. I'd move Spiderman 2 out and Superman 1 and 2 in. There, I just did that. Those are my top 5.
ReplyDeleteI agree Batman Forever was the best of the Burtons. Somehow I wasn't nearly as offended that time. I loved the X-Men movies all right, but I felt they could have done better. Please stop calling Magneto, already, there are plenty of other X-villians in need of a butt kicking.
Your list of bottom dwellers is also very well done. Rather then spend the time arranging them the way I would I'm just going to say, yep, that looks about right.
Good job, Boonie!
