Let's talk about some shows on TV - NO! Not the ones you watch, the ones I WATCH! ALWAYS THE ONES I WATCH!
I watch The Office.
What's marvelous about The Office is that Michael Scott is no longer a part of it. I'm a HUGE fan of Steve Carell, but I hate Michael Scott.
I watch 30 Rock.
What I love about 30 Rock is that it's hilarious. Some shows are cute, but 30 Rock is hilarious, like Arrested Development.
I watch Project Runway.
The season finale is tonight!
I'm bored with this.

Taken 2, or More Taken, or Taken to the Extreme, or Taken Back, or Taken Again, or Whoopsies! There Goes My Wife
The first Taken was like a really emotionally disturbing Die Hard. In fact, I would go as far as to say it is one of the most disturbing movies ever, that doesn't have an R (or higher) rating. (Close runner up, Watership Down.)
However, that movie had INTEREST. That movie had this old dad dude with spunk, ambition, and good ol' family values. This movie has... well.... The most fascinating part was when the dad and the mom were captured and Mom was bleeding her life away, (oh, spoilers, by the way,) and the dad was chained up and on his cell phone to his teen-aged daughter what was "taken" in the first one, and Kim had to follow orders to find and help her parents. That was interesting! That was frightening because... I have no faith in Kim's abilities. But that was only for part of the movie. The rest of the movie was... snorish. And it started far too slowly. Slow, slow, slow!

Hotel Transylvania
What do you expect from an animated film?
I'll tell ya, I kind of expect a lot. I grew up in a wonderful era of amazing cartoons like Batman: The Animated Series, and Beauty and the Beast, and The Lion King, and now we have creative and cute movies like How to Train Your Dragon, Shrek, and Despicable Me.
So when a seemingly cute movie comes along, has an adorable niche, and could be fun and interesting, I'm pretty pissed off when it's boring, un-creative, and lacking. Oh my gosh; I was so bored!
The film student part of me will tell you that the movie couldn't decide if it wanted Mavis (Dracula's daughter,) or Dracula to be the protagonist. The story-line was slacking, and they inserted filler where there should have been plot development. While the rest of me will just tell you that it wasn't as cute as it could have been... at all.
A few twists and tweaks could have made this movie phenomenal. Oh well.
